Orange Blossom Water Cream - Mahallabiya (English Version)


What terrible heat these days in London! We have been really baking lately.
So, what about eating light foods and refreshing drinks?
Let me introduce you the most famous Lebanese dessert: Mahalabiya
It's an Orange Blossom Water Cream, delicious and fresh pudding
Easy and quick to make with few ingredients only!!! What else?

What do you need:
  • 1/2 l of milk
  • 3 tsp of Cornflour
  • 2 tsp of powdered sugar
  • 3 tsp of Orange Blossom Water
  • few pistachios for garnish
How to do it?

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl
  2. Cook it over a low heat
  3. Stir delicatly and continually until it solidifies
  4. Set up on glasses
  5. Add crushed pistachios for garnish
  6. Leave to cool
