How to make Moroccan Preserved Lemon? (English Version)

How about making The famous Moroccan Preserved Lemons quickly and easily?
The preparation takes few minutes only. But, you have to leave it macerate for about fifteen days.
You can now flavor your salads and dishes with Handmade Preserved Lemon.

What do you need?

  • 5 smooth lemons
  • 5 Tsp salt
How to make it?
Day1:
  1. Select smooth lemons
  2. Quarter the lemons lengthways without separating the slices
  3. Put 1 Tablespoon in each lemon
  4. Put the lemons in a airtight bowl
  5. Macerate for about 15 days
Day 2 to 14:
  1. Stir gently the bowl everyday
  2. A lemon juice is made naturally and cover the lemons
Day15
  1. Drizzle with olive oil
  2. Don't forget to each lemon quarter and wash it before using
